the highlight of my day was going on the punchbowl walk. The saying of the day was "a fed kea is a dead kea".

The strongest feeling I had today was being amazed and I had this feeling when I saw the waterfall and seeing the scenery on the viewing deck of the train.

I saw Hamish showing kindness when he was taking us around and telling us what we needed to wear when going on the walk. Today I learnt for the first time that water can splash you and you can get frozen! I also thought that the walk would be easier that it was!

I liked having free time and playing quietly in the bunkroom. When we were walking back from the waterfall I stepped in a puddle and my foot got soaking wet. The waterfall was amazing. I wanted to stay but the wetness was too cold. We went back to camp. I liked the walk back better than the walk there.

Camp blog!

Today when I went on the train, it moved sharply. My mum and dad were saying bye bye and then I said the same. I saw some graffiti then I drew a picture of the graffiti that I made up. When we came here it was strange because Arthur’s Pass didn’t look like Christchurch and I saw it was a weird place.

Run Hugh Run

Hi my name is Hugh.I am not a usual character that you would see much of but you will see me in this story of haunted chickens.Now let me tell you about my house.Ilive in a house with blood trickling on the ground of the dungeon and poundig hearts from other unlucky creatures are hanging on the walls.And I have a feeling I'll be next.

The house is'nt owned by anyone ut this is what I think happened.

Once there was a farmer called Old Macdonald who ha too many chickens so he sent them to a man called Toy Smith kept them.When he died in 1973 the chickens had to survive on insects and Potato chips like myself.

Better stop talking here come the chickens.I looked at my watch it was lunch time.I try to escape but I run into a chickens foot I try again but the same thing happened I tryagain with my eyes closed and im through. Im a genius I closest door it is locked all my efforts have gone to waste.Until I see an open window I race for it I was their all the chickens are after me one chicken makes a leap he is a milimetre away when I sqeeze through.I MADE IT!

The Two Little Mice

The two little mice loved spending time together but Grey Mouse didn't come so Brown Mouse was upset and crying and sad. Squirrel came over and he started to cry too. Bird came over too and they all did it together. Along came Rabbit so she started.

At the Skatepark

Today I went to the skatepark . It was a cold day at the skatepark and i saw people too and snow too.

Our Relay Team

On Friday the 6 March 2010 it was the senior school swim sports. I was in the Room 17 relay team and our class won. It was really close between Josh and James on the final leg. I felt really excited but nervous when I got told I was in the team, but in the water it was really exiting. When we won the whole class was really happy and so was I.
I went first, Meg went second,Charlie went third and Josh went fourth.

Zone Swimming!!

Yesterday I went to the Zones for 50m backstroke. I won my heat, the final was really close but I just got in first place. YAY! I am not allowed to compete in the regionals because I was versing 8 year olds, but I am still very happy.

my weekend

I got DVD from Cheapskates. The first DVD I got was restricted 16 so my mum rented it and I got a better one. After that we went to Mc Donalds and I got a chicken Burger and big fries. I liked the DVD. In the DVD there were street riders.

week 5 reflection

What i enjoyed most was... PE with Mrs Jones because we have been learning about touch rugby. Next week I would like to... do more art and finish off our shoe sketches. Next week will be so much fun. What I need help with is... My reading and my maths I find it hard sometimes.
